MARVEL The Thing

A close friend of Reed during college and a talented athlete, Ben Grimm becomes a skilled military pilot, leading Reed to recruit him for the experiment that grants him superpowers. Ben's body is transformed into a rock-like substance, making him virtually indestructible and giving him immense strength comparable to the Hulk. However, unlike the other members of the Fantastic Four, Ben cannot revert to his human form, leading him to perceive himself as a monster. Despite his appearance, he remains one of the most beloved superheroes in the entire Marvel universe.
