Capable of controlling atmospheric events, such as creating actual storms, this leads her to be worshiped as a goddess in Africa. The mutant Ororo will be part of the second generation of the X-Men but immediately becomes one of the prominent members and often the leader of the group. Additionally, she was the wife of T'Challa, aka Black Panther, and therefore, for a brief period, the queen of Wakanda.
